Book Review - Eve: A Christmas Ghost Story

This novella is a ghost story with an element of mystery.
A North Yorkshire market town overshadowed by a tragedy that happened in 1899, killing 59 people. The town hasn’t been the same ever since. At the request of a local resident, two psychics, come to the town a hundred years after the accident to see if they can make a difference.
I found the focus on the past quite heavy going, as it was such a heart breaking tragedy that I can imagine must have had a huge impact on the town at the time. I could feel the energy of grief and misery amongst the spirits. The interaction between modern day psychics and spirits of the past was both touching and emotional. I even had tears in my eyes at one point.
Although this is set around Christmas, it could easily be read any time of the year. I recommend this to fans of ghost stories and paranormal fiction.
