This is a dark and brutal crime thriller.
Three sisters. One missing. The other two torn apart by one man. What will it take to bring them back together again?
This is a great thriller, but be warned, it does contain some graphic scenes of sexual abuse and torture of young women. If you can cope with the brutal content, then this is a very well written thriller with a clever plot and well developed characters.
My only criticism is that it seemed a little long. Not slow in any way, as I found it hard to put down, just a little long, so I kept wanting the pace to speed up a little, but couldn’t read fast enough.
This is the first book I’ve read by Karin Slaughter, but it won’t be the last.
I would like to thank the publisher, Random House UK, Cornerstone for allowing me a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
